I’m going to New York City! GLAAD OUTAuction 2011, hear I come!

Here are the two pieces with some more info about them that I will be showing. I’m so excited to be going!

Cinderella’s Fuck Me Shoes – Cunulingus”, Debi Oulu, 2011, mixed materials, approx 22cm x 15 x 10, series of 12

This is one in a series of three pieces titled “Cinderella’s Fuck Me Shoes”. “Cunulingus”, “69” and “Fellatio”. In the fairy tale, the glass slipper is the only object left behind for the prince to find her with. I thought it about time to add a little spice to the old fairy tale and to help remind the prince why he wants to find her 🙂 The sculpture was originally in red glazed ceramic. I then casted them in clear epoxy to give them the more “Cinderella” glass feel to them. They are placed on a led lit royal pillow to give them that “magical” feel.

Man Masturbating, Debi Oulu, 2011, cold bronze casting, 45cm l x 25cm w x 15cm h, 3^rd out of series of 12

“Man Masturbating” is about capturing that moment, seconds before the ecstasy of an orgasm. It is about our ability to pleasure ourselves and how this should be celebrated and be able to be placed on our coffee tables, and not behind closed doors. The sculpture is cold bronze casted
