This is it! I am taking New York by its pant legs and shaking it till all the little coins fall out intomy hand. Two of my sculptures have been chosen to participate in the GLAAD Out Auction, and I have been nominated as a Best Emerging Artist in my field. I will be going with my good friend Lazar. We decided to spend the whole week looking at art galleries and museums and to try to see, where we as artists, fit into the whole thing, and the best way for each of us to proceed with our emerging careers as artists. Maybe I will win the lottery, and get a gallery to represent me. Maybe a wealthy collecter will bid on my sculptures, and want to buy more! We will be doing a crash course in Contemporary Art Appreciation 101! I will write each day what we saw and did, and post whatever pictures I will take.
