This is the tittle of the email I received yesterday! I am so excited. Two of my sculptures have been accepted to be shown, and I am nominated as a best emerging artist! I’m am desperately looking for a cheep ticket to New York, as I would love to be there for this exciting art event. here is a bit of info regarding the GLAAD OutAuction:

| Since 2002, GLAAD has produced one of the most visible art auction events in the LGBT community. Part glamorous cocktail party, part art auction, OUTAuction brings over 700 guests from the art, entertainment, fashion, and philanthropic communities together to celebrate established and emerging artists, while recognizing GLAAD’s Top 100 Artists. The third annual OUT In Art award will be presented to an artist or foundation for their unique and unwavering commitment to fairness, diversity and support of the LGBT community. Art previously sold at OUTAuction include works by renowned masters Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, and Joan Miro, among others. |
