I Was Here – Interactive Art Mural

This project was created to be  part of an amazing exhibition of Street Artists.  Over 50 artists created large wall murals at the 7th floor of the Central Bus Station.  (to see pictures and more info on exhibition, go to this link)

I wanted to create a conversation between the graffiti artists works and the visitors and people who use the bus station.

I created a large wall mural of a a huge Thumb-print.   It was painted in very light grey.  The idea being that the final print would be created by thousands of thumbprints of people who use the bus station every day, as well as those that came to visit the exhibition.  attached are the beginning pictures.
