Debi Oulu, the artists, explores her vision of eroticism in a video art, by using the pottery wheel in a very interesting way. This film is part of series of art pieces titled, “My Penis and I” in which the artist explores her connection and relation to the penis

My total cost for this production was under $1,000 USD.

I asked favors from friends for the studio, actors, make up and camera man. The only money I spent was on rental of camera equipment and editing, food and wine. All promotion has been done by me as well.

Artist Statement:

“Why is a nice Jewish mother/wife making sexually provocative art?” is a question I am asked often. In my search to find my personal truth, I deal with issues that appear to be in conflict with my “conventional” lifestyle. An art critic has described me as “an artist without borders”. The more I search for the borders, the further they become. I am constantly going outside my comfort zone in the creation of my art, both in subject matter and choice of media. Once a concept has been chosen, I try to create something that communicates on many levels with the viewer in an active multi-directional way. The whole experience is exhilarating.
