“I Was Here” – Central Bus Station, 7th floor, permanent exhibition.

June 2013, the largest street art exhibition in the Middle East opened up in the Central Bus Station.   I had one wall to work with. I wanted to create a conversation between the graffiti / street art  and the visitors at the central bus station.  This is a commentary on our physical presence in a place vs. our virtual presence.  Visitors are asked to leave a physical thumbprint on the mural, thus the one big thumbprint is comprised of thousands of actual thumbprints.   The Thumbprint itself was colors using all the basic colors, because we humans come in many colors, but basically our thumbprints while being unique all look very much alike.
