I wanted to create a conversation between the graffiti / street art and the visitors at the central bus station.
I created a large wall mural of a a huge Thumb-print. It was painted in very light grey. Once the exhibit became permanent, I decided to clean it up a bit and give it some color. The final print is created by thousands of thumbprints of people who use the bus station every day, as well as those that came to visit the exhibition.
